Your hardware, your network. No cloud in the critical path.

The tools run where you are - your laptop, your LAN, the rack in the closet. Nothing routes through a service we operate. If your internet drops, your tools don't.

Agent-native

Built with and for AI agents. MCP throughout.

Sylin's tools were built in partnership with AI coding agents, and they expose themselves to agents the same way they expose themselves to you. Model Context Protocol is a first-class surface, not a bolt-on.

Continuity

Nothing phones home. You pay for governance, never for autonomy.

Open to everyone

Open source at the core. Free to run - no accounts, no gatekeeping.

Candor

What keeps the other four honest. Less a fifth commitment than a habit - one that shows up as things you can check:

- 300+ architecture decision records, published.
- Self-assessments we publish, not bury.
- Maturity labels that mean what they say - pre-1.0 wherever it's true.
- Comparisons that name where we lose.

Every project page has a "when not to use this." We publish nothing we can't keep true.
